John Sadler
John brings more than 20 years of strategic planning and
corporate development experience to Genoa's clients.
Prior to founding Genoa in 1999, he
served for six years as the Executive Vice President of Newcourt Credit
Group (NYSE/TSX). During this period, Newcourt grew from a small Canadian
private company to become the second largest commercial finance company in
the world. As a member of Newcourt's seven-person senior management team,
John was instrumental in

creating a ten-fold increase in the
market value of the company's common shares.
Between 1991 and 1993, John managed
the Financial Communications unit of Burson-Marsteller's Toronto office
where he provided counsel to a wide range of clients from the Canada
Deposit Insurance Corporation to Northern Telecom. He served in Ottawa as
Senior Policy Advisor to several federal Cabinet Ministers between 1984 and
1991. In this capacity, he provided strategic policy advice that was
integral to the Government of Canada's privatization of more than a dozen

state-owned enterprises including
Air Canada, Petro Canada, Teleglobe and Canadair.
John is an honours graduate from
Wilfrid Laurier University's business school. He is a member of the
Canadian Investor Relations Institute and has served on numerous
charitable and voluntary boards including Safe Kids Canada, the Via
Salzburg Chamber Music Series, the Empire Club of Canada, the Toronto
Community Foundation and the United Way of Greater Toronto.
